4 types of film openings.

There are four main categories of title sequences; they consist of titles on a black screen, titles over still images, titles over moving images and titles using animation or motion. These film openings have different conventions and reason for use.

My favourite title sequence is from 'Catch Me if You Can'. This is because I liked the way the title designer used animation to match the plot of the story, which was of a character running away. Many significant objects such as aeroplanes and cars show this.
